Roses and summer berries

Even if we have opened a new chapter of horror

almost every day these days

We are standing together holding hands

believing in democracy, freedom and love

...

There is no more roses in the flower shops

they have all been carried in our hands

held up to the sky as a symbol

and put down on the ground

together with cards with words of sorrow

compassion and condolences

But we also have good moments

it is summer, the sun is finally warming our bodies

the strawberries is still sweet

Grieving

We are grieving

Our nation is in shock

Never in anyones worst nightmare

could we believe that

anything like this could happen

At least 93 people killed

7 of them when the goverment buildings were bombed

86 of them executed at Utøya island

5 still missing

almost 100 injured, many seriosly

All this done by one person

with a big plan

......

We have no words

we cannot take it in

We are just a little nation

who woke up to find the nightmare

was real

......

Terrorists comes in all colors

so do all the rest of us

please talk to your young ones

about every persons equal right

to live, to have freedom and respect

........

No person stands above others

No life is worth more than others

No person should take another persons life.

Finally I've started my holiday.

The rain is pouring down, no sign of summer warmth

I look forward to enjoy lazy days

and fun games (Yatzy) with my daughter

Then out of the blue
the peaceful time of naive innocence has changed
Our Goverment building has been struck by terrorism!

Tourist in my own town part 1

As I wait patiently for my holiday

and go to work everyday

I have come up with a great plan:

I will become a tourist in my own town!

This afternoon

We walk through

Falkensten Farm

With it's lovely dam

We walk on the grit road by the fjord

And we end up at Varnestangen

The lovely and peaceful place

Which is best reached on foot, on your bike or in your boat

Next time we will bring

a flask of coffee and some biscuits to enjoy

or maybe a picnic basket

And Tiramisu, suddenly I realise
I have an italian menue today!
I didn't plan it at all!
