Summerjoy

Life in the garden on a warm summer morning.
My breakfast on the stairs
Nasturtium
Rhubarb from the garden
A favourite from when I was young
My mum used to make this:
Icecold thin rhubarbsoup
To drink or eat with a spoon
Extremely refreshing on a hot summer day! To be sure it stays cold enough
add a couple ice cubes

This is summer in a glass

breakfast on the steps....nuthin better.

It's been too chilly here to have breakfast on the steps, and we are sadly lacking sun. I hope the 200 miles distance to the wedding we must attend on Saturday will give us warmer weather and maybe some sunshine.

I've never had anything like that! I do enjoy rhubarb pie, though.

Our nasturtium took a turn for the worse when we went on vacation--wouldn't you know that's the one week it didn't rain :/

Le Chien: I know! pretty too!

Beth: It's the best, peace and quiet, no fuss!

Marjie: We have had som very warm weeks, everything goes slowly, Norwegians aren't used to such warm days! Hope you will find better weather where you're going!

Tavolini: If you get your hands on some rhubarb, you should try it! just add sugar, wather and potato flour or maizena to slightly thicken it.
