Hepatica ( Norwegian "blåveis")
Is is one of the safe signs of spring in Norway
They were once about to go extinct around were we live
because everyone picked them to make spring bouquets.
They have been protected for years,
and we now enjoy their lovely blue faces where they appear.
Like this: at the corner of the cabin.

great flowers too..
Happy Easter!
I have similar flowers in our side yard, and they peeked their tiny heads up last week, after the snow on Monday and Tuesday. Our 7 pound leg of lamb lasted only Easter dinner, and I'm so glad you've finally gotten to enjoy cornbread. My college kids were annoyed that I didn't make any while they were home!
Happy Easter Anette! We celebrate it next Sunday but we're preparing the house and soles all this week! We shall cook lamp too BUT with the Greek way! I see you still have snow! People was wearing T-shirts here today!
Le Chien: We ate the cornbread as it was, lovely, like cake!
Beth: I'll make it again, thats for sure! Happy Easter!
Marjie: It sounds like you have about the same weather as we do.Did you have all your hungry wolves home for the lamb?
Marina: We're watching the greek weather closely now, my daughter has a count down until our holiday in Rhodos. We long for warm weather!
