in water over night
The meat is smoked pork
Peas, onions, meat, carrots, salt, pepper, thymeSlowly simmering for hours

soup of pea(ce) - :o)) looks extremely .... nutritious... Giving me long gone child hood memories of swallowing the pea soup as fast as possible ( without tasting it) to get quickly to the promised pan cakes...
My mother loved this soup. My dearly beloved doesn't, so I have an excuse not to cook it!
I had never thought peas for a soup! It looks so delicious!!!
