Taste of Pasta

Made a bit of pasta

for my nephews yesterday

Dinkie wasn't helping much

Blåmann, the blue monkey was exhausted too!
But the pasta was a sucess
and now their mum has to make them fresh pasta very soon
Isn't it great to pass on inspiration!

National park and sunshine

We love to have a walk in

our little national park

Borre national park

it has seceral mounds and cairns

and lots of space

by the fjord

It is one of my favourite places!

But what's happening here?

Our little dog loves to rest in the sunshine

she seeks the light, on the floor

on a chair, in the sofa...

but tables?

This is not allowed!

She knows, hence the slightly guilty look

(which is hard to see because the blackness)

Footprints in the snow

It's winter at the cabin Who's been running over the snow?

Dinkie is keeping an eye on things

She is working on her tan

relaxing on a blanket in the winter sun

Windows and sausages

She's looking out of the window.

Sometimes there's a bird, a dog

or even her "sister", the cat.

(If that cheeky cat walks past

hell breaks loose.)

Her nose touches the glass again and again

leaving nosemarks.

Today it was time to clean some windows!

Take the curtains down and clean them.

Phew! Cleaning windows is hard, she says.
(or watching someone do it)
She takes a rest with her Teddy Dog

For dinner: Spicy sausages

Yummy!

Mashed potatoes, beans, cheese sausage, spicy sausage, broccoli.

Love and nibbles

This is love

crossing the borders of color, size and species.

Dog meets blue monkey.

Its a match and true love!
Blåmann's head is slightly balding,
after having been sucked on for years.
We're talking about a long term relationship here!

Another omelette,
they are easy to make and easy to eat!
A bit of cheese, spring onion, ham and spice
to make it just exciting enough


Warm and open cheese sanwiches
with ketchup, ham or salami, spices and cheese

I've been out

I've been away from the winter wonderland for a couple of days.

I've been to Denmark

to see my soulmate

You can't beat friendship!

We don't get to see eachother much, but when we do

We're just as we were when we first met 25 years ago!

This is all the sight-seeing I did.

Talking, giggling, drinking lots of tea!

Just as we planned

And I met her bundle of joy: Bundy

On my way home

the sky was blue as always over the clouds

Miss Mustache

After getting my new laptop, I'm having problems with transferring video clips from camera to PC. I'm waiting for som extra wires and stuff.

(why oh why cant things somtimes just work the way they are, there is always extra stuff needed, she said whiningly)

Anyway, while waiting for it this is our dear little Miss Mustache:

About Cats and Dogs and New Years Resolutions

Well, a new book of blank pages has opened.
This year we're gonna work on the family project:

Show and tell what you really mean!

For example: Our dog, she is barking mad (literally) because we've took one of her species' biggest enemies in the house to live with us. She tells us from the bottom of her lungs that she want to settle this situation the way her lot has done for generations: Chase and kill! (or the less proud way: chase and get a smack on the nose!)
The kitten is miaoing her feelings, jawning and looking calmly at this barking troll, feeling safe because the troll does'nt get to her.(the troll is of course on a leash)
We'll keep our optimism up and trust the books where we have read that after a couple of weeks, this will have settled and they will be best of friends! If not, we'll have to continue to split the house up in cat-zone and dog-zone for eternity.

For the rest of us, we'll try to be nice and honest to each other. Give each the love and the space we need, and support each others dreams and hopes.
That's the resolutions we have.
