Almondy nutties and Apple cake

Ok I admit it straight away

I didn't make the almond dough

It came shaped like a sausage from the supermarket.

But I did roll it in to little balls,

and I did peel the almonds

They looked a bit to goody goody

so I messed them up with some dark chocolate

(which I melted myself)

The apple cake on the other hand

was made from scratch,

It came, said hello

and disappeared within a short time

like cakes do in our house!

Served with whipped cream

Cabin life and chocolate

My husband enjoying his egg, toast and bacon

5 degrees Celcius in the morning

so we had to put a log on the fire
Jumping frog competition

my sister won

She didn't brag much about it!

Flower in the sun

On it's way down but still pretty

Applecake when we came home

with apples from the garden.

That more or less sums my lovely weekend up!

and lavender flowers from my garden
to make it pretty

I am still at work
Longing for my holiday
pretending to be on holiday!
I am a great pretender
but I want the real thing now!
only 1,5 week more
and I'll be off for 3 weeks!
