You're in my mind!!! I've just thought that I had to put the greek name for my plant and...I see your comment about that.ANYWAY we call it "pikrodafni" that means bitter laurel...Strange name for a plant don't you agree? I love fireplaces and I can't wait for the winter to come in order to start a fire!

Yes I love our fireplace. Looking in to the flames, it's so calming and stimulates the mind and imagination!

The fire is amazing; I love very much the fire place in winter, when it snows...
Kisses, Anette.
P.S. My surname "Urkijo" means a place where there are birch.
(My English is not very good. I studed French at school, and I speak Spanisch and "euskera", the language of the Basque Country).
I can't wait to set the fireplace on. The best time for fireplace is on Christmas time.
Ah yes - this is one of the reasons I love the cold season; dark, wet and cold outside, warm and cosy with fireplace and candles inside..
Jetzt darf der Winter wohl kommen? Wie schön ist ein knisterndes Kaminfeuer.
