Fast but not least

Yesterday I did something I rarely do
had lunch at Mac Donalds
Its part of the "procedure"
when Little Chef and I have our trip every now and then
to the main hospital in Oslo
He was born with cleft lip, jaw and palate
and goes there to check that teeth and everything
grows and develops like it should.
Maybe not the most culinary experience
But what can I say, its tradition!

There is much to be said for tradition. I hope your son continues to thrive.

All the things are needed. A small change. Then they appreciate your food more.

and not a bad tradition at that...I grew up in a small town so to go into the 'city' to have this was a real treat for us as kids....how old is the little chef...you might have mentioned it before but I cant remember.....

Marjie: It's something about things we have done always, it's hard to break the chain! He's doing great and he's a handsome guy!

Antigoni: Thats true! I suure like home made food best, but a change is always nice!

Le Chien: We live in a small town too, we always see strange things we talk about on the train back home. And we're always glad to be living in a small town. The Little Chef is 12 years old.

I grew up eating McDonald's every monday--and I remember it fondly :)

I bet the little chef will, too.

My Dad insisted on good "real" ice cream, not Dairy Queen! I thought he was wrong for 10 years, and right for 40.....
